Sir Winston Stirling—known simply as Winston—is the heart of our breeding program here at The Klepper Homestead. This stunning Standard Poodle stands 26 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs 58 pounds, carrying himself with elegance, confidence, and a gentle spirit.
Winston is fully health tested and 100% genetically clear through Embark and OFA CHIC, giving peace of mind that he passes along only the best to his offspring. His pedigree is complemented by a strong genetic color panel, carrying for cream/apricot, sable, phantom, brown, and parti.
More than just his looks and genetics, Winston shines in his accomplishments. He proudly holds multiple AKC titles, including Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Community Canine (CGCA), Urban CGC (CGCU), Farm Dog Certified (FDC), Trick Dog Novice (TKN), and the AKC Temperament Test (ATT). He is also a certified therapy dog, a role that showcases his calm, steady, and affectionate personality.
Winston consistently produces puppies with his hallmark qualities: intelligence, trainability, and a loving disposition. Whether destined to be family companions, therapy partners, or future stars in their own right, his puppies carry forward his sweet and reliable nature.
Stud Fee's & Process
Dam Requirements
Before breeding, all dams must: Be genetically health tested with results provided prior to pairing. Have a negative brucellosis test performed within 30 days of live cover. Be of sound temperament, with no history of human aggression.
Stud Fees
Our stud fees are determined by titles, health clearances, and genetic value. The standard fee for a proven stud is $1,500. Fees must be paid in full prior to breeding.
Live Cover Process
All live cover breeding's take place at our home in Monroe, North Carolina. The stud fee includes up to three supervised ties. Each breeding is carefully monitored to ensure the safety of both dogs. You may transport your dam to and from each breeding session, or choose to board her with us at no additional cost for up to five days.
